Manchester City has launched a Ramadan Esports Cup that will allow EA Sports FC 25 players in Egypt, Algeria, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to compete to win exclusive prizes and be crowned this year’s Ramadan Esports Cup Champion. The tournament is open to players of all levels and is available across a range of different platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X and PC.

Tournament Format & Rules:
In terms of the tournament format, players in each country can enter their country’s respective qualifiers for a chance to secure a spot in the finals. There are four qualifier groups that players enter based on the region they live:

  • Algeria (Fri, March 28, 13:00 GMT – Fri, March 28, 18:00 GMT)
  • Egypt (Fri, March 28, 18:00 GMT – Fri, March 28, 23:00 GMT)
  • UAE (Sat, March 29, 15:00 GMT – Sat, March 29, 20:00 GMT)
  • Saudia Arabia (Sat, March 29, 09:00 GMT – Sat, March 29, 14:00 GMT)

Once a player has entered into their country’s respective qualifier, they have a maximum of 5 hours to play a maximum of 10 games against other players in that region.

Players that place on top of these regional qualifiers will secure a spot in the semi-finals. The semi-finals will feature the winners of the four regions playing against one another on 13:00 Friday 4th April, with the chance of competing in the Grand Final later that afternoon at 14:00 – 15:00 GMT + 1.

Prizes
A range of prizes are on offer for players that reach the latter stages of the tournament, with the winners receiving a 1-on-1 session with a Pro Manchester City Esports Player, as well as a full team signed City jersey.
