Nicegram empowers Telegram’s content creators drive earnings

Popular messenger and community engagement platform Nicegram is set to transition into a SocialFi app, as it envisions a unique monetisation model built on DeFi protocols to empower millions of creators on Telegram.

Nicegram’s focus on empowering the web3 creator community will see it introduce significant AI and crypto-focused upgrades to its platform, including token gated access, multi-chain wallet, multi-language translation and a rating system for Telegram groups. It will also launch its much awaited Nicegram Hub – a central communication and engagement hub for creators, in addition to an advanced search console which will function as a catalogue for users to easily discover 100,000+ Telegram groups that have been indexed and ranked on the Nicegram platform.

Commenting on Nicegram’s vision for the creator community, Sergey Sheleg, Chief Product Officer, Nicegram, said, “Globally, the creator economy is poised to touch $470 billion by 2027, yet creators on Telegram have very few options when it comes to monetisation and community engagement. The lack of a credible user engagement platform and low-value data analytics further alienates advertisers from engaging with these creators. At Nicegram, we are excited to be the solution. Our vision for SocialFi draws on the success we have achieved as a messenger platform, bringing together AI, data and innovative community engagement tools for targeted engagement.”

A proponent of the benefits of decentralised finance, Sergey further added, “We’ve always believed in the power of Telegram communities, and by integrating DeFi and crypto-based functionalities with the Nicegram messenger platform, we aim to bridge the gap between creators, users, and community managers, to become the ‘Telegram for Businesses’.”

Built as a functional Layer 2 on the Telegram API, Nicegram has had an impressive period of growth in the last 24 months, growing from 1 million users in early 2022 to 26+ million presently.

As part of its ongoing strategy, Nicegram will launch several new crypto-native features, including industry-first creator monetization tools, comprehensive data analytics, and referral & rating systems, to put the power of community engagement into the hands of users. Nicegram aims to build on its high level of traction (over 90% in top user regions) and offer a seamless interface for community managers looking to engage with bigger audiences, including its captive user base of over 26 million.
