Westcon‑Comstor adds 1Password to its AWS Marketplace Programme

Westcon-Comstor announced that 1Password, a leader in identity security, has joined its AWS Marketplace programme, creating new opportunities for partners to drive growth in the identity security market.

The agreement enables partners across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) to purchase 1Password’s software fromWestcon-Comstor via private AWS Marketplace listings, streamlining how solutions are packaged, sold and delivered.

Partners also gain access to enablement, advisory services, and billing support from Westcon-Comstor’s dedicated team, helping them take advantage of the growing shift towards cloud marketplace procurement and bring 1Password solutions to more customers.

Based on the AWS Designated Seller of Record (DSOR) model, the distributor’s AWS Marketplace programme is designed to help partners transact more easily, accelerate sales cycles and build scalable new revenue streams. 1Password becomes the latest vendor to join since the programme’s launch in 2024.

The collaboration between Westcon-Comstor and 1Password builds on the two companies’ existing relationship, following the signing of an EMEA-wide distribution agreement last year.

With hyperscaler marketplaces continuing to gain momentum – and analysts forecasting that most of the projected $163 billion spend via them in 2030 will flow through the channel – the agreement reflects a shared commitment to ensuring partners grasp the opportunity.

1Password is trusted by more than 200,000 businesses and millions of consumers globally to close the Access-Trust Gap: the gap between the access organisations have granted, and the access their security teams can no longer see and govern.

1Password Unified Access is an identity security platform for modern work. It helps organisations discover, secure, and audit access across humans, AI agents, and machine identities, so teams can reduce access risk without disrupting the way they work.

“The addition of 1Password further strengthens the value we bring through our AWS Marketplace programme,” said Peter Woest, Cloud Marketplace Partnerships Director at Westcon-Comstor. “Partners recognise that growing their marketplace business is now a strategic priority and are looking for faster, more flexible ways to transact. By enabling 1Password through AWS Marketplace, we’re helpingour partners close deals faster and scale growth while delivering a highly relevant security capability that addresses real customer challenges.”

“This collaboration is about meeting partners where they want to buy and making it easier for them to do business with1Password,” said Larissa Crandall, Global Vice President of Channel and Alliances at 1Password. “As more organisations look to AWS Marketplace to simplify procurement, working with Westcon-Comstor gives partners a more streamlined way to bring 1PasswordUnified Access to customers and help them build a stronger identity security foundation.”
